The Police dying their hair blond again

Postby kinetickid on 09 Apr 2007 01:27

Hi Everyone,

After reading all the different threads on the forum, i was wondering if the band would die their hair again. I know that Stewart let them gray out, but they should die them for the tour ... I think it would be really cool.

I am being a bit nostalgic, but what the hell.

Heh. Check out Sting's The Journey & The Labyrinth DVD - his hair is so blond I momentarily mistook him for Billy Idol!

Sure, for me Billy Idol and Sting are look alike.

I really want, just to be a little bit nostalgic about old times, that for the

shows our three guys turn into blonde hair again.

Andy should let his be grey, I think he'd look better that way. Sting? I would be shocked if he ever did... not that he shouldn't.

I think it's stated somewhere that Andy was the only true blonde of the bunch. I know older photos of Stew show pretty dark hair and Sting's kind of looked mousy brown. Sorry, sting.

None of them are natural blonds. Read Andy's book. Look at the pre-Regatta photos.

Yea, check out Stewart in Curved Air photos and the pics on Henry Padovani's site. He looks way different from the Stewart we've all come to love.

Not that I'm against the occasional folicle enhancement. I've been known to hit the (Nice n Easy) bottle :? I'm naturally dark blonde but I may get some hi-lights for the summer.

They could come on stage with any hair (but mullets :!: ) and I wouldn't care as long as they rock!
Stewart and Stanley together again!! YO!
hard to tell in that piccie, georgey gull. could be blonde.

i thought i was goinggray in me early twenties. kept finding red and blonde hairs in me raven locks. but it progressed MUCH slower than i feared. i saved all the hair i cut off last year, and its mostly still dark in my late forties. maybe 5% white, mostly in the front. somebodytoldme you can take certain mineral supplements like Ironand they will darken your hair. also carotene. i dunno.
Who knows?

As far as I remember, Andy "hit the bottle" for the commercial too...I seem to remember a quote of the day on TPT that was Andy describing the first time he looked at his bleached locks, he said something like it looked kinda brassy orange, like a whore's...<giggle>

I think people look younger when they don't try too hard to look young...being comfortable in your own skin/hair > any thing else <grin>

So that's why Stewart looks younger! No wait... he is younger. Well maybe he kept most of his hair because he quit bleaching? Wasn't his father balding?
