Ciao gang!

Cover stories keep on coming; CHITARRE, one of the most respectful italian magazine about guitars and intruments gear, dedicates the April cover story to THE POLICE, with a 10 page article written by Gianni Rojatti, along with pics taken from the fantastic Craig Betts photographic archive.
It also includes an interview with Giovanni Pollastri (me, remember I told you about it some time ago?) about the book 'Illegal Tales: The Police 1977-2005' (that I wrote).

Gio, is there any chance that your book will ever be translated into other languages?

there is some sort of interest from someone, even if it's still early days...the only problem is that it is updated up to 2005...the lute Sting project was not included as well as Stewart dvd release...I may have some news coming in a couple of weeks or two about some new projects on my side...

Is this interview posted online anywhere? Because there are some translation websites that may give we non-Italian-speakers the sense of what people are saying...

the whole article is about the story of The Police, very well written by the journalist; great pics from Craig archive; my interview is one page long and is about how I ended up writing a book about the band, and what I think about their success, more or less...something like five or six questions. It was done about a year ago, I didn't know of course about the new plans...
