Watch it again, but this time keep an eye on Andy. Dosen't he look annoyed each time Stewart talks?

Yeah Mrs. Gradenko, you are right.

But I remember Andy many times has this look when Stewart talks.

Is like he is watching his little brother talking...

I don't know...looked like maybe Stew interrupted him and he was a little annoyed, but that's all I could see. Not likely a big deal.

I don't think so.

Andy often has that look...I think if Stewart annoyed him that much he wouln't be there. They are old time buddies, they know each other like brothers.

I hope May comes soon...we may be anaylizing the colour of his shirt soon.

Cheers.

"Andy often has that look...I think if Stewart annoyed him that much he wouldn't be there. They are old time buddies, they know each other like brothers. "

From Andy's book: "There is a competitive edge in these interviews because each of us wants to do the talking, but Stewart, who is extremely verbose, makes it hard for either Sting or I to get a word in anywhere."

So, I can understand the look.
"Did you say-jazz? I could've sworn I heard..he said jazz!"

amazing sound

Postby giovanni on 07 Apr 2007 20:32

It's an amazing sound...LOW LIFE is such a great tracks being played this way...am I wrong or The Police never played that song live? Sting did it on The Dream tour, but The Police....I have no recordings of the band playing it and I never knew about them playing it.

The sound is powerful, no backing tracks or other external devices...just the three of them and they rock! Essential sound...they will be as powerful as ever....!

Look forward to see them live again!

You'd know better than most, Gio...I was wondering myself after this video if Low Life would fit within the category of songs Sting promised of "never played" of course, new songs would fit as well <grin> I asked several weeks back on police/mailman but wasn't cool enough to get an answer <giggle> about just how many songs in the Police repertoire they have <never> played live, since I don't have that comprehensive knowledge of their live shows...

Is this the Star Wars model at work yet again? Hyperspace members have gotten exclusive behind the scenes material that eventually ended up on a dvd. But i wonder if all of it does, or if some stuff remains exclusive to the website as an incentive to spend on it. Hard for me to directly comment, since i haven't joined either one :)

As always, this outsider appreciates the reviews and such. It's great to hear that early setlist won't likely end up as the be-all, end-all of the songs they perform, in addition to new stuff. Maybe if Dive keeps clamoring for "Everyone Stares" and i keep hollering for Masoko Tanga they will eventually hear us!

(Jeez, now she's got *me* doing it... )
