Many fans are aware that Stewart contributed to some of Peter Gabriel's work in the 80s. And if you didn't already know, you do now

Big Time is one of those tunes. It was the theme for last year's Wrestlemania, or maybe the year before. While some might scream sell-out, i actually admire Gabriel's willingness to expand into new areas. I daresay he would have distanced himself very far away from such an association back in the day.

But it also makes me realize that Stewart himself is likely to have collected a paycheck from the event. It's weird reconciling all this with my inner 80s kid, as i pretty much hated wrestling back then. Since then i've done a complete 180 and actually shot short wrestling movies!

Stewart also did some work on Simple Minds' Street Fighting Years, but it makes no mention of which track.

My copy got trashed during a move, Anyone know? Anyone.

Phil Collins has a disitinctive drum sound. (Could be Hugh Padgham that brings out the drum sound more)?

I bought that album because of that song. Great song.

If I understand this right, only the writer of the song (Peter Gabriel) will get royalties from the wrestling gig, not any of the musicians who played on the track. So, as Sting once learned the hard way, publishing is where it's at folks!

I'm not too sure on that. Stewart himself has mentioned how some of his own score material would be financially impossible to release due to having to pay all the musicians who performed the work. I won't pretend to know all the legal ins and outs tho!
