Thanks Jose...this is excellent news that a DVD of the tour will be made!

I wonder if what Trudie is doing will be part of the same DVD, or if there will be a separate documentary made about the reunion.

Hope Trudie's documentary will be a seperate docmentary... you know two different views of this mega tour... one of It as rock documentary and the other one with a movie treatment... Hope Stewart also would be carry on his super 8mm camera or a new one for taking some shots of a forthcoming re-edited version of "Everyone Stares: The Police inside and out"

and i think that they are almost certainly going to make available recordings of every night on the tour so that gig-goers can then buy / download the night that they went to. So there will be bootlegs of every night available.

going to have a code on tickets so you can then download / buy the live recording of the show you went to.

(most big bands are doing this now 'cos the recording is owned by the band not the label so all the £'s are theirs.)

My wife asked if Graying and Balding was really the name of the company or if they were having a little fun at the expense of The Police.

You know... they are older and graying and balding :D

it is kind of funny... Andy is old enough to collect his pension now, but he looks younger than Stewart and Gordon.

Gio, can you put in a request with these guys and ask them to get Stew in lots of shots and close ups and lay off the crowd shots? Godley & Creme got way too many crowd shots and not enough of those white shorts.

I wonder if they could do Multi angle shots for the whole DVD. In the those multi angle shots 3 of them would stay on Stewart, Andy & Sting.

So you could view only Stewart or Andy or Sting for the whole concert footage. :D

You know what? You're gonna laugh, but I like all those 80s crowd shots. Reminds me of all the hair and fashion from back then. You know, it doesn't seem like all that long until you remember the hairstyle you wore in 1982...

Generally there's not enough Stewart 'n Andy in any Police footage, ever, tho...

But I think Sting, Andy and Stewart looked on that video contemporary and not old fashionable as the crowd

Sting's hair was very Billy Idol like, I thought! I agree that they don't look dated.

Hahaha DMoD, maybe its more so that I don't really want to remember my meticulously crafted Farrah Fawcett wing-do (using the holy-trinity of mousse, styling gel, and Aqua Net)...I'd rather watch the Police then remember "ya I wore that...ya I had that...ya I danced like a freaking dork like that" etc. etc.

I really really loved the Synchronicity style at the time I have to say and, in a way, I still do no matter how dated it may be :) The IRS productions, otoh, always had a lot of Stewart $$ My guess is that this time arund its equally between the three...really three musical legends in their own right at this point in time <grin>

The good news is they won't be able to film the background singers this time! So, more Andy & Stewart footages. :D
Unless they film it the way they did for Gateshead? :?

anything like the sound quality of gateshead would be amazing as i far prefer that concert than the syncronicity gig.
