Hey, i have to manage to get off the ground today before anything else...

Three hour delay so far, though at least my flight is one of the few that wasn't outright cancelled today through the East Coast thanks to the weather today!

Sadly, still sitting here at JFK airport after my flight got cancelled too late last night to even get a hotel room for the night anywhere in the vacinity.

Couldn't even get a seat today to Venice, only as far as Rome...gonna have to try to do the train from there, it looks like.

*sigh*

The rest of this vacation better improve soon!

Oh, sockii. That sucks. Winter finally arrives just in time for your early spring vacation.

Rome is certainly closer than Philly, so that's a decent start. Just think of the lovely scenery you'll get to see from the train that you would have missed otherwise.

Ha ha, yeah, right! No, we stayed firmly planted in Venice...with losing one day we didn't get to hit Verona like we were hoping for a day, but there's always next year (when I'd like to do a coastal trip down to the city I was born, Ancona.)
