Kids are so cute..

Kids are so cute..

My ever so lovely high spirited 2 1/2 year old daughter Erin and I were stopped having lunch in my van a few days ago. I had the CD player going and of course it was a Police CD playing. Mind you, she does a little talking but still babbles sometimes and Roxanne was on and she says Dance and Sting laughing and song starts from beginning. Roxanne, she copies and says Roxanne very quietly and I said oh your singing. How cute. What I did not expect however was for Erin to Yell on Cue Roxanne almost in perfect sync exactly when Sting does it in the song. I was drinking a soda and it ended up all over the front of me and I was in complete hysterics. That was too funny. I had to share. Now she does it all the time just to make me laugh.

Thus why kids are so cute.

Oh bless her! I have a 2 and-a-half year old too and he is forever making me laugh :D I just love this age because everything is an adventure for them (and us!) - really magical. I must try getting my boys into The Police!

While watching the Grammy telecast of "Roxanne" my 3 year old son got really excited and said, "Dad, dad, I'm the drummer!" When we re-watched it a couple nights later he said the same thing and added, "You can be the singer."

He also claims to have written every Beatles song he's ever heard, as well as most of the Stones and XTC catalogs. My wife and I keep saying, "Where are those royalties, buddy?" Ha ha ha.

My little boy is too young to say words. He's only 9 months old. But as soon as he hears music weather it be from the CD player or the TV, he starts to boogy. It's hilarious! Basically he shakes up and down and laughs while he's standing and holding onto the play pen.
Seeing The Police live for the very first time - priceless!

Oh, what a sweet and nice thread.

Memories!

I have three kids. A daughter-17teen, a son 16teen and another boy-10

I remember that they really became in touch with English language before they were born cause they are hearing Police's songs since I was pregnant.

They ever know very well all Police´s songs lyrics, but when my girl heared Derangements from Everyone Stares DVD, told me:

-Mom, this songs sound really new and fresh. I like it more than old Police´s style.

How you like this?

My almost-3-year-old has become a real Police fan in recent months. Loves the video for "Can't Stand Losing You." Those huge glasses that Sting wears just crack him up. He also imitates Sting when he's wiggling the fingers on his left hand during the last verse.

Matt loves the Klark Kent album, and he knows who it is. He always says, "That funny Stewart Copeland!" :)

Zilboy, just figure what happens with my boy Gino.

At first he did some schools works about Stewart Copeland as his theme.

Now he is a young drummer...

So maybe your son Matt will do the same as my son Gino, when he become a teen.

Georgy, Matt likes to tap the drums from time to time but his true passion is cooking with mom. He'll be an Iron Chef someday, I think.

Well Zilboy, your boy is very little yet.

Who knows?

Anyway, my kid is a drummer but just as a hobby.

I'm bringing my 9 year old daughter to the Giants' Stadium show. It's time for her to be baptized. :-P
