OT - Rock on, Mozilla!

Postby jedsoon on 27 Mar 2007 02:49

Ever since getting my new computer last summer i've consistently chosen Explorer over Mozilla for 'net stuff. Old habits die hard.

One of the biggest pluses about surfing at home is the sheer comfort of being able to lie down while doing so. But i could never read this site in my preferred position with Explorer, despite attempting to use that handy resizing feature. Just didn't seem to work with this page.

But tonight i've discovered it does with Mozilla! I speak to you now from the plush comfort offered by my eleven pillows. I'll now be tempted to hang out even more here, although that may contribute to the delinquency of my animations.

Whatever is a hungry artist to do?

You know about Mozilla extensions, too, right? You can get cool add-ons that do everything from forecast the weather to balance your checkbook.

I've used it for years (knew the guy in school who wrote the Lynx browser, then went to work for Netscape before it got bought out, etc). Mostly it comes in handy for posting over on Backstage, which appears to be allergic to Safari.

Those tix are *mine* alex! I either have very long arms or a short ceiling

I'm actually almost proud to be on the trailing edge of technology. Never was one of those types that had to have the latest thing. Ipod? What's that?? I've been using the same stereo system for over 15 years!

Holy crap! Balance my checkbook? Haha, i don't even balance it on paper! As for the weather, i usually just open the door and grab a little air... see how it feels! 8)
