Why do people complain??

Why do people complain??

I've been on other Police related sites. It seems like everyone is moping about the official site charging 100 bucks. And then moping that they don't see each member of the band having sex on the internet. Or the fact that they don't get to spend a year with the band for that 100 bucks. I know that's over the top, but it's just how it feels. I can't believe people are so introverted.

At first, I was really upset about the whole credit card thing. I even emailed the site begging for another way in. Actor's don't get many pre-approved cards, haha. They never responded. It came down to the fact that I could see a whole lotta stuff that the public will never see. Forget the tickets, as a fan, I really wanted this. I don't care what it costs, if I have to spend a grand to see a show, guess what, I'm there. I whined for years that they broke up before I was old enough to see them. I told Ian I would give anything for one show. I now have 3. I'll be at all of them. Thank Ralph, the Police Picnic's had a way with the boys

Not to be rude, but if the prices affect you so much... Please don't go, you'll be disappointed. The Police will never do for you what they did for people like me. I can't wait to get my new membership, and I can't wait to see them a few times! Cheers and regards!!!!!!!!

This is incredible. The police are doing a reunion. Whatever it takes , whatever it costs i'll pay it. I need to hear the police perform songs from zenyatta mondatta my favourite album of all time. Thanks to divemistreses advice i became a member of the fan club and scored front row tickets at birmingham. This is incredible. Make my year.

If TPT membership ever does extend to seeing each member of the band have sex on the internet, will you guys let me know? That'd easily be worth $100.

I'm going with the "year with the band" for $100. ;)

I'm with you, alex. I mean, in a perfect world it'd be great if the band were playing small clubs and charging $20, but that ship sailed a long time ago.

Them having sex? Ewww.

But if I could go back, I wouldn't buy that membership.

I have my doubts...

You guys are terrible!! But funny...

I saw an AMAZING band tonight for $20 in a small club...Hoodoo Gurus, from Perth, Australia...I think they may have one or two U.S. dates left. One of the best rock shows I've seen in recent years, which surprised me, since their recorded work is on the pop side. My ears are still ringing, but it was worth it.

HA!

Like I said, I've got $100 and a willingness to travel. I'd be happy to take one for Team Copeland in the interest of science.

Sorry. I tried to resist; I really did. I got through a whole day without following-up. I'll try to be more professional next time.

So tell us about the Hoodoos, Dive.

I saw Barenaked Ladies a few years ago and half through the show they took questions from the audience. One guy sitting behind me asked if he could come up and play drums.

They brought him up on stage the drummer for BNL let him sit down and pound out a beat, while the other guys played a little bit of a song.

If was awesome...... so for the $100 bucks... perhaps Stewart will allow some guy to come up and bang around a bit on his drums :)

Or at least they can take questions from the audience.

I did blurt out some negativity after i had a chance to think about that whole $100 bit, but that's said and done. I haven't joined and don't plan to. Fortunately i don't feel the need to join another site as this one fills this particular bill for me nicely.

I do think concert costs and such have skyrocketed in recent years, but i can't blame the industry for trying to insure the future life of what's likely its most bankable cash cow. It's just my decision to not generally participate with any great regularity. I'll probably only spring for one Police show!
