What kind of POLICE stuff you'll BRING to THE POLICE GIGS?

Postby Jose on 25 Mar 2007 18:17

For those lucky fans around the globe who have their POLICE Concert tickets...

What you'll bring to THE POLICE gigs?

I mean flags, balloons, T-Shirts, Hats, Banners, etc., with POLICE Motifs..

Any idea? What's the best way to pass It without security disturbs...

Regards from Lima,

Will be great a "Mariachi" Hat with a POLICE Logo on it!

And with a phrase surround It with something like this:

VIVA THE POLICE CABRONES!!!! 8)

Ahhhhh José, you know us very well.

Maybe not a mariachi hat for me, cause is very big, but a northern México cowboy hat would be great, and speanking loud Viva México Ca...

Hahahaha ohhh don't forget your mexican flag... but I think a Mariachi hat is more typical and recognized worldwide... and perhaps you will be the focus for any photographer there!!!!

Good luck...by the way at what POLICE concert you'll go??

I've found all my Police-buttons and pins from nearly 30 years ago! I'm gonna wear them again. I guess there are 30 buttons and pins. I also find my The Police-bag....

I've got a lot of pins, too. Plus I think I'll be wearing some kind of Stewart-themed t-shirt and carrying a cool handknit GiTM bag. ;)

(What?! We couldn't vote for short shorts and tube socks?? :))

Maybe I'll have some sort of Stewart tee, too. As has been universally agreed upon.....the man kicks ass! :D

For the love of courtesy, I hope people have the decency to leave banners and flags and balloons and crap at home. The last thing that anyone wants after all these years is to have their view of The Boys obstructed by someone's swag.

José, as a matter of fact I am a little bit shy

Better to enjoy some Police's concerts with my cowgirl and simple hat!

I think people may have different customs on balloons & flags and stuff in other countries. I think it might be fun, myself...depending on the details...

Yeah, they're usually banned here in the US. But whenever I see big banners and stuff in videos, I feel for the dozens of people who got stuck behind them and now can't see anything. I understand the desire to show support for the band but not at the cost of the convenience and joy of the other audience members.

Well a balloon will be passed from the last row to the first row... the same with a big flag or banner for not disturbing the visibility of fans... flags, banners or balloons are easily to take off and show it for some moments and then hide it's, but isn't the same when somebody carry up a girl or a boy over their shoulders... also making waves ( as a soccer play) will be nice for a broadcasted transmision...

Seriously. I didn't pay $250 a ticket to stare at someone's spraypainted bedsheet all night.
