Q for gio

Hi
From your conversations with the police are they delighted with the ticket sales for the tour? Is it below or above their expectations. They have sold the first gig in twickenham and birmingham but haven't sold out the second gigs in these respective places. On the other hand they sold out paris quickly.

tickets sales

Well, I'm pretty sure the band is concentrating in giving their best musically and artistically speaking, first of all because they ARE people like that; as Stewart said in his Tuesday message here, of course they take care about how many tikets they sell, as it's massive...
As to second shows, well, I'm sure they will be sold out as well, and when the tour will begin, and people will see again those three 'blonde bastards' (sorry Andy, Stewart and Andy, you know I love you...ahahahaha) will kick everybody in the ass, the remaining tickets (if there will be any) will sell out in a few seconds...

...at the same time I'm not sure they expected such a massive and huge interest showing up so fastly....

...? My question is, how could they NOT expect it? I don't mean to sound rude, but the #1 question EVERYONE asked Stewart during the "Everyone Stares" interviews was about the Police reunion.

Remember how we all made jokes about it? And Stewart answered the question so calmly and patiently every time...even after he probably knew it was going to happen...

You're probably in a better position to know this, Gio...do you think Stewart in particular is really so humble that he doesn't get what a big deal this music is to many people? In a way, though, I think that's probably a good thing...taking this all too seriously would probably not be good for the guys, in a few different ways.
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!

Nahhhhhh, I think Gio left Sting out, because he knows the lead singer is too shy...

And for 20+ years prior.

That word "subterfuge" comes to mind somehow.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.
