I think my favorite part is toward the beginning when Mills tells Buck "he's in a different key."

Sorry, MJ -- I don't know of it being posted anywhere. It's from their Dead Letter Office album. If you wanna shoot me an email, I'd be happy to pass it along. (Although now of course it has been built up to such an extent that it can't possibly live up to the hype.)

God you guys have all made me laugh so MUCH today! You were really putting me off my work! I was just thinking how much cooler Stewart's fans probably are than Stingo's and then I realised - it's no great mystery why a bunch of highly excitable chatterbox jokers would be drawn to Stew now is it?!

Who you callin' a chatterbox? (looks both ways, like Robert DeNiro in Taxi Driver)...why, you must be talkin' to me! ;)

That whole REM album has always been one of my more favorites. There's another track on there called "Voice of Harold" that's great...I still can't quite believe that little band has sold a trillion albums and sold out stadiums all over the world.

In Sting's defense, I've met some cool fans of his, and I am one myself, to an extent. It's just that, well, I like Stewart's work over the past 20 years or so, um, a lot more. Although I liked both the Broken Music book and the lute record very much more than I thought I would.

And, I better get off the computer and hit the rack so I can go run all over Chicago tomorrow, so I'll leave you with...

"Don't think sorry's easily said
Don't try turning tables instead
You've taken lots of chances before
But I'm not gonna give anymore
Don't ask me
That's how it goes
Cause part of me knows what you're thinkin'

I am the eye in the sky
Looking at you
I can read your mind..."

Oh, hey...Bella, are those all your Police pins? I may scan some of mine in...I have a really cool Regatta-era one you guys would probably like.

Good gods, is that the Alan Parsons Project? We're really digging into the vault now. Before I go on, though, should we take Bella's wise advice and start a new thread? We have certifiably killed this one. (Sorry again, WG.)

I fully confess to being a highly excitable chatterbox. I promise I'll calm down after next week's deadline. In the meantime, it's all CAFFEINE and SUGAR all the time.

BTW, check in Animal. Last I saw, you had blacked out. Just wanna make sure I didn't kill you.

Can I play? Here's my personal most annoying song:

Watch it now
The eagle in the sky
How he dancin one and only
You - lose yourself
No not for pitys sake
Theres no real reason to be lonely
Be yourself
Give your free will a chance
Youve got to want to succeed

Owner of a lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
Much better than - a
Owner of a broken heart
Owner of a lonely heart

Um, nice save there, Dive! As you know there are several of us "stingos" here that occasionally come out of lurk mode. I think we're just not very active posters, probably because we are tagged just that.

Oh shoot, now how do I get that song out of my head? Guess I shouldn't have played this game...

You know what, though? It's really not a Stewart vs. Sting thing. I mean, it *is* sometimes, but in my book it's a just-for-fun thing. I would never look down on Sting fans...when I could be looking down on, say, Clay Aiken fans.

;) I'm kidding, seriously. People have different tastes and I think everyone has this inclination to think their own is the best, but I like a lot of stuff myself someone else would probably hate. (True confession: I own loads of disco CDs, and a bunch of those best-of compilations of hits from the 1970s. Hope you guys won't throw me out of the club now.)

It is definitely risky to play "Earworm." I've stuck just about every song I've posted in here in my own head. Although there's a great radio station here in Chicago and right now I've got "Waterloo Sunset" by the Kinks all up in there...

Welcome to the game from hell, Michelle. (And man, I hate that song.) Funny enough, despite all these songs, I've had "King of the Road" in my head for two days. Damn you, Animal!

As for Sting, I have lots of respect -- he's a very talented man. So of course I respect his fans -- silly not to, isn't it? I just REALLY enjoy calling him Stingo. It makes me smile.

Now I've got a bit from Sports Night in my head about "Afternoon Delight" by the Starlight Vocal Band.

Hey Michelle - I don't really look down on Sting fans - it's all just a bit of fun when we make jibes on here. Hope I didn't offend you at all.

Confession: I own (and enjoy very much) several Sting albums.
Plus, you know, he wrote a lot of my favourite songs so I don't really dislike the guy.

Anyway, sorry if it sounded a bit bitchy, was just messing around
