Would someone be so kind as to tell me just what the trick is for posting an avatar?

I noticed that there are specified size restrictions, but there are many users whose avatars clearly seem to defy those restrictions. Plus, I'm just having a hard time, period, getting it to work.

Any help would be most appreciated!

Hey, juleverde.

I got mine to work by uploading the pic to a hosting site (like Photobucket) and sticking the pic's url in the "Link to off-site Avatar" field of the Profile.

Does that help?
