I am Shocked I just CHAT with STEWART

Postby Jose on 21 Mar 2007 03:36

Some minutes ago I just chatted with STEWART at http://www.thepolicechat.com/chat.htm

First he talks me in spanish, so I rememeber Uncle Ian also talk in spanish... but I doubt if he was the real Stewart Copeland... so I make a question for knowing if he was the real Copeland drummer... It was funny...

So, I remember he played a peruvian instrument in a German TV show ( Arte TV) with a violinist ( I think the violinist was german) so I requested about the percussion instrument he played for a german violinist in that docummentary of Arte TV... so for a seconds he was confussed... and he corrects me if that violinist was Daniel Hope... I respond I not remenber the exactly name of that musician, but that perhaps was him... so he told me he is british... hahaha...

Well finally I approach the moment to ask him about the south american tour... and he respond me that dates not was confirmed yet... but the probabilities for a gig in Peru was less and the big possibilities goes to Brazil and Argentina... well a bad new , but I am happy for chatting Stewart Copeland...

I am shocked!!!!!!!!!

That's why I asked him that Q about the percussion instrument he plays in front of a violinist on "Arte TV" docummentary... I really know only am I and he will know the response... but other evidences came too, First he chat with me in spanish, so I remember Ian Copeland also speaks in spanish... In spite of the fact, when I requested my question he stand a few seconds blanket...then he requested me if the violinist was Daniel Hope, as I didn't remember his name I suposse thats's the name correct of that violinist so he say me he is british and not german as I call him before... at the end he didn't respond me the Q and I reveal him the name of that percussion instrument, because he argued me he is in a hurry...

Well, I hope he was the real Stewart, cause I suggested Jacky to post here and invitation to Stewart to join her chat room... so I supposse to be Stew...

I just read Jacky in her chat room, that he wasn't Stewart... If he wasn't Stewart give to me two feelings... First of all I am happy that doors won't totally be closed to a POLICE GIG in PERU (as that Stewart told me) and I'll have a bit hope... and on the other side, I am not acting as an stupid fan, that's why I requested him my doubts... although I san as an inocent fan, but finally if he was Stewart or not that guy give me a momentanous good vibes that I chat with a real POLICE 8)

That's all what I receiving since I become a POLICE fan...only dreams from the blue turtles... things come real? I hope one day in many miles away into the distance... the light will show me the end of that hole in my life

Well, it wouldn't surprise me a bit if it had been Stewart. You know he loves his fans. And I think he's as involved with us as he can be, given how famous he is (and the pandemonium it can cause when he shows up at events or even posts here, sometimes).

So why not think it was Stewart? :)

Oh José, I don't know if the person you met in the chat was the real SC, but the way you wrote about your chat experience is really lovely.

Actually Jose, sorry to be a pain but my Spanish is terrible and that wasn't me. I would love to speak Spanish but I'm pretty much limited to "Hola", "Gracias" and "Tequilla per favor!" Anyway this is the only site where I post stuff.

Things are going great here at the castle. Sting and I haven't killed each other yet. We were about to throttle each other until all those folks in Paris bought 70,000 tickets. That got our attention.

Both of my buddies are blazing like never before. This tour is going to be amazing!

Followed soon after by "Dónde esta el baño?" I would expect.

Well, Jose -- you didn't talk to Stewart before.
But you have now.

PS -- Cheers, Stewart.
