I didn't have time to log on the board after Friday so I didn't see your response until today. I liked Saturday the best. For Friday and Saturday shows, I sat up on the front row of the orchestra view which I think are the best seats in the house and they were also the cheapest. You could see and hear the orchestra clearly. Despite the plexiglass shield behind his kit, you could also clearly hear Stewart. One thing that changed for the Nashville trio of shows is that it was the first time they mic'd the orchestra.

I agree Stewart has gathered a fantastic group of musicians and singers for the Deranagements and hope the show goes on the road for a while so everyone gets a chance to check out this awesome project.

All I want to know is whether the original Derangements are featured in Everyone Stares.

Guess I'll find out when I finally buy it.

As per the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra website:
Tickets for The Police Deranged For Orchestra go on sale later this summer.
Shows are on Friday Sept 30 and Saturday October 1.

I went to both shows at the VSO and it was just wonderful. Stewart and his team received a standing ovation for both nights. Loved the orchestra set up and Stewart‘s loud, up front drums made it very rock‘n roll. Stewart also mentioned that he hoped that Sting would watch it one day.

I read on here that Taylor went to the performance in Nothridge and that is awesome! RIP

These shows have been fantastic. I think his hi hat playing on ELTSDIM to close the show is even better than it was on Tourzilla. The second biggest highlight, after STEWART's incredible drumming, is ASL on bass OMG. STEWART, ASL, and Rusty need to tour. I am not a fan of EBYT overall, but ASL's bass is lightyears better than any version I've ever heard Sting play live and made it quite enjoyable. I also liked the choice of female vocalists, as their range is much better suited than most male vocalist I've heard taking on the material.

Finally, ASL and STEWART playing the Equalizer was phenomenal. Probably by favorite of the night. Just a hair above ELTSDIM. Surprising coming from me, right? GO SEE THIS SHOW IF YOU CAN!!!!
There is no bigger gong.
