Divine Tides

Divine Tides

I think its a bit odd why there has been so little talk about Divine Tides on this forum. It is such a fresh work from the Maestro, and well acclaimed, as noted by the Grammy nomination. I am curious what the other Nutters here think.

It's a high quality standard performance and release, and it deserves that nomination. I like that kind of Indian atmosphere.

Seriously. This disc needs a lot more love than its getting here. It just gets better and better with each listen. I have no idea what is being said during "I am Change," but it brings me to the verge of tears for some reason. The whole disc really evokes an emotional response that I get from few pieces of music.

During these crazy dark times, I find a lot of comfort in the music from this album and beautiful videos.

I bought to album on iTunes. I listen in the car all the time. It's very good, a relatively new sound for me. It's like trying new food with unfamiliar seasoning.

It's two parts Indian, one part pop/rock with several distinct pinches of S. Copeland- savory enough to listen through all songs. I love it. I recommend it. One example:

Congratulations to Stewart Copeland and Ricky Kej.

I believe this is Stewart’s 5th Grammy Award.

Dear Stewart: It would be fun if you record the arrival and placement of your latest trophy at the Sacred Grove.
