What is up, is people treating dedicated forums as outdated technology. Everyone is all up with the TikToks and the Twitters and Discords. And Facebook I guess.

Also, without promotion that project is doomed. Someone needs to promote, and sadly I am a nobody.

Stewart linked to this project on his facebook page - he has 365.000 followers. 34 of them are dedicated, it seems.
I sent the project link to the sting.com people, as usual there's no interest in promoting something that's not "just" Sting. And at the time of an album release I can even understand this.

Well, sometimes projects just fail. Timing is a big thing. Are the potential buyers distracted by "life stuff"? Are potential buyers currently not in a good "financial situation"? Are people too preoccupied by something way cooler happening elsewhere? Yeah, timing.

Also keep in mind, crowdfunders can and do get a second chance. For example, "best of" music from Tomb Raider 4-6 performed by live orchestra + original soundtracks from those games in good quality? That campaign failed. They tried again. Success. Just search for "Dark Angel Symphony" and listen. Just listen. THAT failed at first.

I was talking about this book something like a year ago with Laurence and we agreed on an interview that I will soon do with him in order to promote the kickstarter campaign (probably both video and written). It might help.

I think Andy should talk to people in the photography circles. They might be interested more :|

I think part of the problem is the requirement to create an account. Most people don’t want to do that. Kickstarter should create a option to contribute/purchase without an account.

Most online stores allow a purchase without logging in.

as the kickstarter campaign reached the desired goal, that photo book will now become a reality

I can only repeat my offer to get books for all the fans who didn't immediately fund the project because they may not like creating a kickstarter account or didn't have a credit card

the book will be expensive, for sure, but certainly worth it

if you want a copy once it's out - send a message : dtmrcls@aol.com

The book is finally there... Lawrence has received all printed copies and will ship them out to all kickstarter supporters. I will get about 40, I guess. So IF there are some interested parties here you can get in touch with me to get a copy. Sample photos (for now) are only on facebook or the kickstarter page... It looks GREAT !

I received my copies today - the hardover book features 100 pages, quality is excellent, a foreword by Andy, an afterword (with additional photos) by Lawrence Impey, some samples of his photos being used in magazines, programs or elsewhere:

if you're even slightly interested in a copy (and don't belong to the group of fans who already made the book possible on kickstarter) send an e-mail to :
