Interesting read, everything seems legit. But there is a contradiction, in the DVD interview Francis claims Stewart was originally brought in to just play the drums, not compose. Also, though this has nothing to do with the article, it is a bummer no one but Stewart is credited on the album for the instruments. As if he played it all by himself.

This part is golden:
We saw each other after The Police show at the MGM in Las Vegas in 2007. He gave us backstage passes. How nice is he? I made fun of his wardrobe. He said he pays people a lot of money to tell him what to wear. Elizabeth, my wife, asked if he had kids. He said he had six. She asked “The same mother?” He said, “ No, I wouldn’t do that to one woman.”

I was at that 2007 show at the MGM. Did not get backstage passes from STEWART. But it was the last time they played Spirits in the Material World on Tourzilla, so I had that going for me.
