Hub reminds me I was a pain in the ass when we first got one - whining about using a new interface...but what can I say? Once you go Mac, you never go back.
Conroy, I can tell you that just now on a trip from my mother's house I got 34.8 mpg on average. It's just unbelievable to me that an American carmaker conceived of this miraculous contraption. It's nearly as big as a large SUV but has plenty of torque, et. al...it's also got fun extras like a real, no kidding, 110 volt plug in the dashboard. You know, for your hair dryer. Or your portable thermonuclear charger or whatever.
I had a cute VW Jetta that got great mileage as well, but the hybrid has nearly zero emissions...what can I say. I take this tree-hugging stuff pretty seriously.
