STEWART also posted on July 19, 2017 on FB. The same photo as Belew previously posted of them being interviewed with Belew having a bottle of Coca Cola in front of him. STEWART simply captions the photo, "Should we come clean Mr. Belew?" I do not think this caption has any deep meaning, but is just STEWART having fun with the photo.

I am sorry if EQ or others have posted this already but there is a nice interview with Stewart on the Inside MusiCast podcast on Gizmodrome.

The hosts received a flash drive with six songs to be on the album, five of which I caught the name of in the podcast:
Man on the Mountain
Strange Things Happen (Klark Kent klassic)
Summer's Coming (a song he did for the Sacred Grove with Taylor Hawkins, Matt Stone, and Chris Chaney)

I wonder if one song on the album will be called "It's Gonna Rain"...
I've heard the song in 2014 - it was recorded as a Klark Kent solo version then.

In the comments to his July 28th post, Belew reiterates that the plan is to tour in early 2018. There is no mention of whether the tour will be of the US, Europe, or both.

I asked Adrian on FB whether the tour will be in the US, Europe, or both, he responded "everywhere I hope!"

Yay!!! Better clear off my calendar for early 2018. I've got some shows to go to. This is going to be great. I've gotta feeling that people itching for Copeland penned Police songs and a little Klark Kent will not be disappointed.

May have to go on a diet so I can squeeze into my Leroy Coolbreeze shirt again.

On Gizmodrome's FB post dated July 31, 2017, there is a picture of the Police from what I believe is the Synchronicity era accompanied merely by the text "Roots of Gizmodrome." Is this a hint that Gizmodrome will be playing Police material on tour? Not sure, but I hope so.



I know this is really just speculation and probably is just looking too deeply into a pretty simple, straight forward post that was probably intended to mean "Hey, the guy starting this band was in the Police." But Gizmodrome news is slow right now, so I am making the best of the few crumbs that I have.

Well, that is exciting. Stark Naked is an instramental song Stewart co-wrote for curved Air which appeared only on the BBC live album On Air (also released as Live at the BBC). One of my favorites from that album.

That assumes it is the same song but since the band is using several others from Stewart's past, it makes sense that it is the same.
