Stewart has posed a picture of Belew taking a picture on his Instagram account, but I'm not smart enough to know how to embed the photo.

With the press tour moved on to Germany, if we only had a superfan in that country who might be able to provide some details . . .

Berlin July 13, 2017
Again from Belew's Facebook:

now in Berlin, we start with Classic Rock magazine, then Gitarre & Bass magazine, a taped radio interview with RBB Antenne, a filmed online interview for laut.de, a phone interview with Eclipsed magazine, and a taped phone interview with NDR and WDR4.
then we're whisked away for another evening flight, this time to Munich.

Belew has two Facebook entries regarding the Munich press stop on July 14, 2017. The first one pertains to an ad in the airport about ransomware that seems to match the lettering/font for the Gizmodrome CD. However, more interesting is that in the comments for that post, Belew states that the tour is "probably early next year?" That question mark worries me. Looks like the tour plans are not as set as I had thought. I was thinking the tour was almost set in stone for fall.

Here is Belew's second post in full:

QUOTE

I must have stayed in a thousand hotels in my life, but this is the first to provide a rubber ducky with your bath.
today's schedule for Munich began with a car ride to an interview and photo session at Musikwoche. then back to our hotel interview suite for taped radio interviews with Rock Antenne and BR2 Zundfunk, a phoner with Grand Guitars and Jazz Thing, followed by interviews with Kronen Zeitung and Good Times, and another phone interview with Kurier.

END QUOTE

The post has only been up a few minutes at the time I am writing this, so no interesting comments to the post thus far.

The above photo is by Marko Andric. The Police LPs in the photos were for STEWART to sign but Belew doesn't think the interviewer knew who he (Belew) was.

during the making of the Gizmodrome record we made it a tradition: every day at 5:00 we toast each with a single shot tequila.

More from Belew's FB July 18, 2017:

QUOTE

now we are in London, our last stop, for two days of international press. tuesday morning begins with 4 phone interviews: the british magazine Guitar Magazine, followed by 3 spanish phone interviews with Hush Magazine, Libertad FM, and Radio Tentacion.
then it's lunchtime and at last we are joined by our british cohort Mark King. so terrific to see him again, he's a very positive force, and the laughs begin immediately.
after a long late lunch Mark and I pair up for two in-person interviews. the first is Powerplay Magazine. the second is an interview for the Swiss press with Hans Peter Kunzler. at the last minute we added a phone interview for me with the Orange County Register which is in fact my first ever U.S. interview for Gizmodrome.
the four of us have also agreed upon and finalized all the mixes for the record which includes 11 songs and one instrumental. it comes out september 15.
tonight we plan to eat curry (what else) in one of the 20,000 curry places in Londontown. it's been a beautiful day here.

END QUOTE

If any Nutters see anything from the Orange County Register, please post
