Sting/Gabriel Hollywood Bowl 7/17/16

I really enjoyed this show. Both men sounded fantastic. Peter was very "talkie." Unusual for him, but very nice to hear him engage with the audience so much. His new song Love Can Heal is superb. Sting doing Shock The Monkey...very interesting. Peter brought the house down with a slowed down steamy version of If You Love Somebody Set Them Free.

My personal favorite memory of this show has nothing to do with El Stingo or PG: walking into the Bowl I ran into Cheech of Cheech & Chong fame. He was so nice and funny and even posed for a picture with me.

Good times.

I hope they will come to Europe next year; it seems like March or April should be the moment...
Sting played Shock The Monkey on his tour here in Europe in these weeks. Amazing!

I had a guy I work with offer me free admittance because his friend was running the lighting in Chicago. Sadly I was going out of town that morning.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to go to a show but I watched a bit on Periscope.

They make a nice team.

I give them a B+ for effort but the Ohio show I heard on Dime was just not my cup of tea. Not terrible, but not as good as the premise.
