OT: Cyndi Lauper mentions The Police

Recently caught the Cher and Cyndi Lauper concert here in Ontario, CA. Cyndi opened the show with a fantastic set. She told stories between songs and said when she first started singing as a girl in Brooklyn, she was inspired by the music scene in New York, with fantastic "new reggae" bands like The Police, etc. Everyone cheered at their mention.

Oh yeah, Cher was pretty good, too. 11 costume changes. Then she got in a basket-type thing and flew around the arena during the final song.
