The show was fantastic! Jackie Tohn opened the show with a short acoustic set. Nothing spectacular, but she strummed her guitar and sang her songs and a few covers with gusto. Circa Zero took the stage about an hour later and basically performed the album, just in a different order. I said hello to Andy and Rob as they came in earlier, as they were at dinner, presumably next door at Dan Tana's.

Rob isn't much of a talker, so the communication with the crowd was minimal. Andy spoke a few times, relating a brief story of the origins of Behind My Camel from "that other band I was in" as an intro to the track Hot Camel. Nothing we all haven't heard before - the guys hated it. Andy fought for it, and it winds up winning a Grammy. Drummer Frederick Bokkenheuser was capable enough behind the kit, although he was very loud. Emmanuelle had more finesse. The crowd was a little small, but we had a great time. I count myself lucky to attend their only two public shows so far.
