Just NOW am reading this post, since my web access right now is limited,......am STILL "in transition"......which I guess means Ohio but pointed to VA. To get to hear StewrtHimself in person, in Tidewater, AND to potentially be in the presence of NUTTERS! Awesome, that Nuts! :-) I could not resist....
So, if there ends up being some sort of group tickets thing, or every Nutter for himself, but a meet up, let me knoe. LT woman passed the info on via Nutter Card list, so I knew of event, but not of this cool extended Nutter interest. I could actually get to meet you sockii in person, as well as njperry, etc!
drummike, maybe you and Cathy could even swing a trip. I have no idea if I will have a place of my own by then, or still camping out at Mom & Dad's in Amherst County, a good 4 hrs west of event, but if I do have a place, drummike & Cathy y'all would be welcome to use me as a staging location, and then a Nutter Road Trip (I hear great video title there! Hah!) to Ben STEWART! Green will be the color of clothing choice of course! And I am getting a head of myself here.......
Hope all the US Nutters had a good Thanksgiving. I had great one, but a complicated one.

Thanks for the invitation Suzanne; we were talking about going to Austin to see Dwight Yoakum, but my grandmother suddenly became very sick and passed away, so our trip got cancelled and we'll need to come up with a new plan. Perhaps this would be a better trip anyway. We'll talk it over, thanks.

I'd like to get a plan going and purchase tickets. Bella may know something about the venue but I'm lost. Plus this'll be my first event with Stewart so I don't know whether Nutters try to get a block of seats or purchase the best seats. Need a plan ( and more cowbells!)

Let's see if we can get a block of seats.

That's what we did in La Jolla and Savannah.

I don't see anything about group discounts.

Seats are from $60 (which seems to actually b $70 on TicketMonster) to $20.

I am willing to go for the $70 but don't know is others are.

Let's start a list of who is likely to come:

1. Ltwoman
2. luna-virgo
3. conroy
4. sockii
5. bella
6. njperry

Who else?

I already bought a ticket since I figured it might be difficult to get a block of seats together for that many nutters. Also, some nutters may want to place themselves strategically for optimal photo taking, unofficial recordings for private use only (cough, cough), getting a front row (or close) seat for getting pointed at by Stewart. There will be plenty of time for nutter bonding before (perhaps at the Jewish Mother which used to be the Backstage Cafe at the Norva) and after the performance.

That Jewish Mother just closed... I tried to post the link but I couldn't figure out how to do it from the phone.

I'm feeling pressure to get a ticket.

Drats, hopefully it will evolve in something else that would be a great place to meet up before the performance.

ETA: Here's an article that says it's going to re-open in a few weeks and is going to be run by someone who worked there when it was the Backstage Cafe which is I hope is good sign!

Conroy, maybe you could make some suggestions about seating since you've studied the venue layout?

Well, it's hard to say how this is going to work out since I've never seen Stewart perform with a full orchestra like this playing to a film. However when I saw him at the 2006 Drummer Magazine drumfest, Stewvannah back 2008, and La Jolla (for Celeste and Gene Pool), he was on the right side of the stage. So,I was aiming to get a seat somewhere in the middle of the right side towards the center of the venue when I opted for best available. I got exactly what I wanted when it came up with ORCH-C, row A, seat 13.

I was able to get a pair of tickets right behind Conroy (ORCH-C, row B, seats 13-14).

I don't know for sure if vespapod will be able to come with, have to chat with him as it could be tough with his family obligations for Easter, but we'll see. If not that means I likely will have an extra ticket for a nutter.
