What ever happened to Andy's Movie?

I saw this in NYC with a few other nutters/AUIers last year. I was worried at first when I saw it was less than 90 minutes. However, it captured the essence of Andy's book, including the happy and the poignant moments, and is a great compliment to One Train Later. The narrative seamlessly goes back and forth from the reunion tour to back in the hey day that i thought was really cool. One of the best moments for me as a nutter occurs right at the end right as the movie fades to black before the credits roll. It was the perfect ending to a great film as it left me hungering for more Police magic! I hope Andy is able to go out to promote the film when it comes out on DVD.

Anyone know where to get the DVD or Bluray other than at the site linked by Ben? I don't want Dutch subtitles

that's the only DVD / Bluray out there so far - but you can switch off the Dutch subtitles

I ordered the Bluray, but it didn't arrive yet...

I ordered my copy here: http://movies-blu-ray.nl/index.php?item ... 00&lang=EN

it arrived within 6 days and looks good. Dutch subtitles are optional. No bonus material whatsoever, although there was definitely more stuff filmed than what's shown...

The bluray has no region code, but the DVD is region 2 only!

For anyone who buys it and can speak Dutch I'd advice you to turn off the subtitles as well - they're full of errors like double letters at the end of almost every sentence - extremely annoying.

As for the movie itself, I rather liked it. Not an awful lot of new footage, but it is a nice addition to One Train Later, and I like the way Andy narrates it, and his use of film clips and photo's. I had some doubts beforehand as we already had Everyone Stares, wondering how on earth this could add anything new, but I'm pleased to have this in my collection. It definitely brightened my day (even though now I long for more Police...).

I saw it twice now and I loved it.
A must-have for every Police fan.
Well done, Andy :)

I especially loved it that he included the story of Behind My Camel and all the talk in studio and on stage about the songs.

Hi AnyOther :)
I'm doing great, thank you! I'm not around here that much. Facebook is an easy way to keep track of people.
I was very disappointed that Andy wasn't allowed to show his film in Amsterdam last December.
Are you oke?

Any updates on it's availability in the US (Region 1)? If I'm to understand this correctly, Region 2 DVDs don't work in the US?

At any rate, I'd hope to get some Christmas action from this... Thanks!

Do you have a BluRay player? Because the BluRay version available from Europe is region-free.
