I think most forums have quieted over the last few years. My forum, PezCommunity.com has really gotten very quiet over the past year. Facebook and such are more immediate. I still like the forum format for most of my interests. There's an archive of great information that's easy to access.

The Rush forum stays busy, it seems.

This is my first time here in months *hides head in shame*

There's a litle SC community on FB where I pick up the news and don't even think to look here.
That sucks. I know. I used to be on this site several times a day. But, You're right Rob, part of it is that it's not 2007 but now there are other options online these days that have grabbed many people's attention (including Stewart) and that's where I head. And, I don't think I spend NEARLY as much time on FB as some other people.

Hey Rob, are you going to be able to make it out to Long Beach for the opera?
Stewart and Stanley together again!! YO!

To put it simply, lately Stewart has been on FB, not here. He is very active there and there is a not a lot of stuff happening here anymore, unfortunately. It's nobody's fault, really. Gio and Eugenio do an incredible job, it's just that this thread format is getting old. It's just not as rewarding as a continuous page with pics, comments, links and way less animosity. Just a lighter atmosphere. But anyway, where is Jeff?

I like the thread format because you have a certain headline and topic and can always find a discussion some time later.

I check in here daily just to see what's up. Lately I've been reading the timeline on the policewiki and it's very interesting.

Hello All,

I'm still around although I've been using facebook more than this forum for SC info and comments. Photo uploads and reviewing comments etc. are more convenient on fb. Anyone interested in advertising money, fb and youtube are an important source for gathering followers which has resulted in more postings on those formats by artists and the general public.
Has anyone on this forum been checking out Stewart's youtube postings from The Sacred Grove? You might want to check it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=piLUfNc-96w

ciao for now,
Jeff

St. Jeff, I know you've played in a lot of bands over the years. I'd love to hear some of your playing. Are any recordings available anywhere?

One place to start is the Sting composed Brimstone and Treacle soundtrack tape-CD. I'm not sure what format it is available in. I played on a track called "Only You".

A record called Tender Love and Abuse by Rick Dufay. It was never released commercially but there are copies floating around, if you can find them! I played on three tracks; Straight Jacket, Ten Thousand Bands and Don't Wake Me up.

"Baldry's Out" by Long John Baldry. Capital Records Canada. Played on all tracks.

More later

Brimstone and Treacle was released on CD. Long out of print, but used copies are out there.

I see from my copy that the liner notes say "Jeff seitz, drums" with Only You. I have always liked that track.

Indeed, the whole disc is a fine listen with some Police tracks (notably I Burn for You) and some Sting tracks (one of which features Jeff on drums), plus tracks by Squeeze and the Go Go's.
SC-There are a few crazy people on this planet. Sure sign of that is that they kinda like my music

Jeff

That's gotta be you (on a tight leash) or Sting playing drums on Lowlife too isn't it?
That high hat is NOT Stewart...
