OT: 2 Degrees of Miles Copeland Jr.!

One of my regular library Patrons, a retired man in his late 60's/early 70's, was telling me here at work this a.m., that after serving in a particular branch of military, he had gone on to the OSS. Well, I had to ask if he knew who Miles Copeland Jr(Stewart's father) was-he did-and did their paths cross-they had!! An unexpected "Copeland Moment" to end the week on. During our chat, this Patron mentioned what a true genius Miles Copeland was. Cool.

Did he tell you anything that you can relate? I would bet STEWART would love to read a tidbit or two as well about his dad and his exploits 50 years ago!

What country did they work together in? What years? that kind of stuff....

Jim is sitting out in our Adult Non Fiction room right now reading the paper-however I am frantically eating my Lunch while typing, so any questions will have to wait.
I also wonder if it was Intelligence (OSS, CIA, etc), he probaly won't answer anything too directly/specifically.
We did talk briefly about Nasser/Egypt situation described in Game of Nations, and how some things never really change in that part of the world sadly.
Yeah, that was a cool bit of info to just pop up-put a bright spot in a hectic week!
