Wish I could afford both nights!

There is a rumour of one more gig in London on Oct 20th - I hope to be able to go to that one as well

Heh. I think I'm getting ready to buy tix for the 2nd Dallas date...700 km from my house. Does that count toward getting me on the hotseat to have my head examined? ;)

Diiiive.. you were long ago eligible to be on that hotseat when you paid for VIP tix at Bonnaroo! Haha.

You're a fan. And as fans we must all share in the insanity of things. This is going to be big.

Well, that's different. ;)

(seriously, it kind of is...since I don't have to pay flight and hotel for Bonnaroo...) But otherwise, yeppers, I agree with you.

Just ask yourself: How will you feel 10 years from now when this is the first tour The Police did after a 20+ year absence, and you didn't make the most of it? I know I'd sure like to see Stevie Ray Vaughan, after I didn't go to the concert I almost attended the week he died. Ditto Nirvana, after I could've gone for $5 one Friday night in college. The list goes on...

I'm with you Dive. So far my finances only stretch to the one night but that might change before september with a bit of luck.

So what is this rumoured Oct 20th show Mr G? Tell me it's the Hope & Anchor PLEASE!!!

I think the extra show on the 20th is the London Arena in the Docklands

Outstanding!!

I've got all my fingers crossed you guys get Hope & Anchor. That'd be sweet (and I'm not just saying that because Stewart's rival for my attentions, the mighty Nick Lowe, used to play there a lot as well...;))

I know that I am the luckiest girl in Surrey today

Someone must have been smiling down on me to make up for the cr@p week I had last week - my wee son was admitted to hospital with suspected meningitis  Thank goodness he didn't have but it was very scary.

(glad to know I'm not the only one going all goofy over having scored good tix...just got 5th row through a Ticketmaster auction...in the center! No offense to Andy or Sting, but I'm going to be in the center section for these gigs if I can possibly manage it. ;))

Great news about your child, Helen...
