Just seeing what kind of gear the drummer's have on here.I'll go first....



Mapex Pro-M Charcoal 6-pc kit
Toms:10'',12'',14'',16''
Snare:5.5 by 14"
Lower range Tama Octabans (I have the high ones but 8 is too many for me)
Taye double foot pedal
Tama stands
Cymbals:All Sabian;16" crash,18" crash,20" ride,18" china,14" hats.

I also use a Yamaha DTX 2.0 electronic drum kit when I play at home now since the old woman above me tends to get rather cranky.

Old Tama Rockstar: 16x22kick, 8x10, 10x12, 11x13 rack toms and 16x16 floor toms, 5x14 Starclassic Maple snare, Stewart Sig Snare, 4x13 Tama Piccolo snare, Set of rototoms over the hats - all heads are coated Emporers on the Toms, coated Ambassadors on the snares, coated Powerstroke 3 on the kick.
Cymbals: 6 Paiste cup chime, 9.5 Zilbel, 8, 10, 12 A Splashes, 14 A custom Crash, 16 and 17 A custom projection crash, 16 Z custom rock crash, 16 Z custom med crash, 21 Crash of Doom, 20 Oriental China Trash, 22 vintage A med ride, 14 Sabian reg hats, a trio of LP cowbels, and the red and blue LP jam blocks, Iron Cobra double pedal and two leg hat stand.

I think that's all of it!

Red Tama Superstars - 5 piece - unfortunately extra deep toms (10,12,13,14, 22 x 18 kik) - four extra long Tama Octobans - Tama Copeland sig snare - Paiste Rude 14 - Paiste Rude 16 - Paiste splash flanger 12 - Paiste Wild Ride 22 - Zildian splash 6 - Sabian splash 6 - Paiste 2002 13 hi hats - woodblocks and cowbells.

Next I will get a new Tama Cobra kick pedal and a Tama throne with a back rest.

...Then one day I'll get the Starclassic Maple kit, and I may finally be happy.

Awright,my VERY FIRST post. A figure a drum topic will do.


I have a TAMA Starclassic Performer "Sunset Fade" kit.

2 16x22" bass drums
12,13,14" mounted toms
16" Floor tom
5x14" birch snare

6,8,10" REMO roto toms.

20" Paiste 2000 Power ride
14" Paiste Sound Formula hi-hats
17,18,19,20" Sabian AAX Xplosion crashes
19" Sabian AAX China

Coated REMO Emperors on snare and toms
Clear REMO Black dots on rotos
EVANS EQ3 on batter side Bass drum
Coated Ambassador on Bass drum fron(with "crashing wave" paint job).

Pro Mark 5b nylon tip

I worked for Bill Ludwig II's son-in-law and used to go to the Ludwig factory EVERY Friday when I lived in Chicago. So when I got this kit Bill Ludwig III made sure it was PERFECTLY MADE with good bearing edges[/img]
