lol people take so seriously here.

Some of us take it seriously when we make our living off of writing and photography on the web. So when we post our images and state that they are copyrighted to use, please do not post elsewhere without permission, we mean it - because doing so can actually affect the earnings we get from our hard-earned work.

Fandom can be tricky. Lots of us post and share famous/old photos from years gone by, by famous photographers (but will take them down if requested). But we try not to steal from each other. We try not to steal from other bloggers and crafters sharing their recipes, knits, dreamcatchers and other crafts we are working hard to promote to earn a living. And when someone says "hey, this is my work, please credit it or take it down" we respect such wishes. We also don't take kindly to people who claim work as their own when it isn't because it devalues the work of the original artist. At least I don't, as someone who has spent the past 12 years working to build a reputation on my own handicrafts and who respects strongly the work and crafts of others in my field. Claiming you made something, you're wearing something, you're doing something when you might be doing something *similar* but not the thing in the photo? Is not cool.

socki i tell you already the sites my ex sister in law uses for what she makes and tries to teach me. i tell you already i use image from internets searches or if from the site if looks the same as my things but better lol . i maybe thought if found on a internet search of image that we can use them but dont want to offend anyone. if i use your pics will you tell me and then i take down but i find on a search engine called google for many things its easier than my pics which you will laugh if you see my picture taking not so good. my camera stoppd working a long time ago and we cant afford one now so i just having a fun time here and never want to offend my friends i make here. i really always think its a light mood here but today i think maybe its only for a serious time and to not have a light time

Ladyhawke, I looked at your police concert picture and you seem to be a nice looking American girl, so I don't understand why I have such a hard time reading your English. English is my second language, so that's the reason why my Engilsh is a bit off.

lol its ok policefan i move here from poland when i was 15 but didnt finish high school. i am not embarrased to say this and i know it sounds bad but i had to work my parents were very sick. when i first came here to usa they said i had learning disabilities but i do fine in life i am just not a rich person and since divorce with 4 kids its hard to get by but i dont mind saying it even though these are personal things for me. i am glad to get to know people here and making friends but i really like to have a fun time and not be so serious because my life is actually hard and i come to this forum a police fan but i have interests that are fun to not just serious but i guess i offend people who i try to be friends with . you said english is second language what is your first? where do you come from or live ? i am really interested in peoples story to

I was born and raised in Austria, met my Canadian husband in France, when I was 20. Then moved to Canada. We are still married and have three kids.

policefan you sound like you have a very happy family and these are good fortunes to have in life. thank you for sharing story with me. i see vienna looks nice but will never go back to europe. canada has always seemed nice to but i dont go north to much. you are nice to tell your story but i like this page for fun star wars pics if you want to share those to it would be fun. here is one where darth vader hits pinata and maybe that is better way to get angers out lol

LH, I was trying to search the forum as there are a couple of longer versions that answer your question, but not coming up with that I'll give you the quick recap: I've been on this Board for 3 years now. I got "hooked" again after watching Certifiable. In other words: I missed the entire reunion tour (and waited for it to come out on DVD. Ugh. Big regrets: sigh.) I never saw the Police the first time around either (although I was there from the beginning. They even played 1/2 mile from me at William And Mary in '83). I'm a Virginian, born and bred, and am owned by Roxanne, THE cat.
