I studied Vic Garbarini's article about the recording of Don't Stand So Close To Me '86 and worked on some PoliceWiki pages about that. It looks as if the band started recording on July 21, 1986 and finished mixing it on August 8, 1986. For some reason the link didn't work but I was able to see the entry by tracking it down in "recent changes." I know it's beyond the "end," but it sure makes for a great story. The flower and the switchblade--that's the Sting I miss, that's pretty hilarious. Looks good, Dietmar!
