Hi Craig,
do you offer only an item at a time on Ebay?
When I click on "See other items" I ALWAYS see just one item...

Cheers,

This was common practice by record labels. Most Gold and Platinum vinyl discs were not the actual recorded disc. The award manufacturer would use whatever was around, unsold returns, damaged pressings etc., slap on a layer of gold or platinum paint and frame it up! The record labels didn't care as long as it saved them $. Like they needed more of it?

My bad! I hadn't realized it wasn't an award disc, but now you know! LOL The disc on ebay must have been a mis-labeling accident at the pressing plant. Pressing plant? For you youngsters out there. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gramophone_record

LOL. I still remember when I was first getting into Sting/The Police and was so excited because I had managed to save up and buy Dream of the Blue Turtles on cassette. I brought it home, popped it in my boombox...and Bryan Adams came blasting out! I brought it back to the record store the next day, but now I'm wishing I'd saved that misprint, it was probably worth something...

I bought a mispressed CD of Billy Idol's cover of the Velvet Underground's "Heroin" about 20 years ago. I didn't even know what was on it until I took it back to the story and had them play it. Turned out to be a Janet jackson single.
