@ Sock: What is Asbury Park like these days? Last time I was there was Warped Tour like 10 years ago and it was a ghost town.

@ Luna: JEALOUS! Cult and Jane's at some festival associated with crawfish. That is so up my alley... have fun!

Oooo Coldplay is awesome, and I just saw the Black Keys blow the roof off MSG!

I'm going to see Roger Waters' The Wall in June, and Young The Giant in July.

Waiting for Sting to swing back to NYC, and hopefully Coldplay will add more dates in NYC, not just NJ.

Hopefully I will see Level 42 on June 4th

They're doing an outdoor concert at Northwood house, a 15-20 minute walk from my house as part of the jubilee celebrations. Yay!

Yesterday "Roxette" performing a concert in Lima (17 years after his concert in 1995), with a great reaction of the band that put on its account of Facebook and Twitter: "Oh yes! Lima was, just like we expected, an experience out of this world!" "Outstanding multitudinary audience, a pleasure be on stage with this superb environment"

"Roxette" played songs from their new album and their hits, and also a worldwide Peruvian hit called "El Condor Pasa" (That Simon and Gurfunkel made it a hit in the 70's with the name "If I could" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGKm4clBum4 ) ... it reunited around 15,000 fans at "Estadio Nacional" (Sting reunited in Lima 25,000 fans for his Symphonicity Tour)

this is the video of his concert in Lima recorded by their crew from the stage: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=197181550400631

I got tickets for Bob Dylan, The Black Keys in December and Subsonica, THE absolute Turin band 8) everything in little Turin. Don't even have to go to Milan or even more far.

Too bad that Stewart and Stanley won't come here though

...and tonight Dominic Miller will play a Master Class 4:30pm and before (8pm) a concert at L'Anfiteatro "Antica" at Lima's bohemian district called Barranco. Yesterday he was interviewed by radio and tv...perhaps tonight their show will be registered on video for a TV special Tv program called "Sonidos del Mundo". Here a video report and interview:

Ok, So I just saw the Hives at a tiny club outside San Diego. GO! So amazingly fun and good. And they have Ninjas.

I saw Garbage for their warm-up show here at a tiny club. AWESOME. Also a highly recommended. I would totally go again.

Seeing Incubus on Friday at a casino (weird). Will be definitely less intimate than seeing them at rehearsal last year.

Seeing Jack White at his tour warm-up gig at a tiny place called the Mayan next week. Pretty chuffed about that.

Umm, after that? I forget. So busy in lots of ways.

I'll be in NY in June (12-14) for work. Toronto mid-july and Boston 22-25.Any good shows?

I was thinking about Europe for obvious reasons, but ugh, I can go 7/25. I think the last date is 7/24. Oh.well.

So Dominic Miller show in Lima was great. He played with two peruvian musicians (Shape of y Hearth) at bass guitar and "Cajon" (an afro-peruvian percussion instrument)... Dominic had a great coverage on news, radio and TV ( he has two great interviews on TV and on Radio... their show and master class were recorded with a great quality TV Team I think in some days it will be broadcasted at cable signal. You could see a news report a video and a photogallery on it:

Dunno for sure but isn't Coco Sumner going to be doing a series of shows in Brooklyn soon? I thought I read on her site or Facebook that she's moved to the area while working on a new album.

Would love to try to hook up while you're in NY but dunno...I have a convention that weekend right after and a potential property closing so it's a crazy busy time.

RIght now I still only have tickets for Roger Waters this summer, but I just heard Van Halen is coming back to the area in July. We missed their earlier dates this year but have it on reports we shouldn't miss them this time around. I was also trying to get Rush tickets this morning but fucking Comcastix was impossible. I'll have to wait until later. The new stuff sounds ridiculously good and I am a sucker for the entire steampunk theme they are going with.

Saw Bruce a couple of times already and will see him once (for now) in September.
Some guys I work with got tickets for Rush. Their enthusiasm was a bit contagious and I'm going to wait and see.
Re: Coco. She had some gigs at Pianos in Manhattan. Don't know about Brooklyn but there are a bunch of places where she could likely get gigs.
