I was up in the gods on one of the same nights Smax was there. Good concert, great sound, sadly almost ruined by almost everybody getting up during the concert for a wee or a beer, one woman playing on a new netbook she had bought out shopping - so he hardly held the audience in the palm of his hand all night, more like a "nice night out after dinner"....

I was grateful for the set list posted up here, meant I could sneak out during Message in a Bottle and get an earlier train back to my car as it was a very long way home again for me

I wished to see sting so much. His songs are so calming. I really like song 'I'm so happy I cant stop crying', i would be so happy to see sting lol

Well, it's not a Police gig, but, I didn't expect it to be. Reminds me of Bring On The Night, which is a good thing. I like the violins. Driven to Tears was a highlight, along with Fortress Around Your Heart. Ended with a boring version of EBYT. Bleck! I was hoping for Message In A Bottle, Secret Policeman's Ball Style. Maybe that was an encore? I think I will check him out when he comes back this way.
