wonderful news Laurie! I am so happy to hear it!! Mike and I will see you on Saturday. I also have a donation from Andrea to add to the team. She was never able to get it through the team webpage, so she mailed it to me and I will bring it Saturday to add to the team's fundraising.

Will definitely try to make it up. Just booked my megabus ticket to 30th street station and will take the SEPTA train up from there.

I'm having some last minute stuff come up and may not be able to make it - we're on one car (that I can drive) at the moment and vespa needs it for housecalls Saturday since we're cramming stuff in for a long overdue vacation, and I have no easy way to make it via public transit from my new place now. :( I'm seeing if I can arrange a ride otherwise but it may not work out...grrrr. In which case I'll have to just take a 5k run around the farms out here to make up for it if I can't make it to Vilanova...I'll let folks now.

I hope the walk is great fun for all.

You have my support, both moral and some financial through a donation just made.

Crap, just realized I screwed up my reservation and can't change it to right time, so I won't be able to make it tomorrow :(

Re: Safe from the Sun "Nutters for Life" Team - reactivated?

Postby Donna on 19 Mar 2012 18:09

Hey Laurie

I've received notice for the early bird registration on the SFTS 5K in Villanova for this May 12th. I wanted to register early and make sure that the team was properly credited. Are you going to reinstate that, or should I just go ahead and sign up as an individual?

I wasn't sure if there would be a team effort again and I would like my contribution to go towards the team, if possible. I did not see the team name in the drop down menu, so I'm not sure if you need to reactivate that before it will let you choose. The early bird deadline is April 1, so let me know as soon as you can. Otherwise, I'll just sign up on my own and hope to see some familiar faces!

Hope everyone is well

love and hugs

I would definitely try to make it this year - I know I missed the last one but if there's a team, I'll try to make it this time around and do the 5k.

It's the day after my birthday, so I'm kinda ashamed to say that I might be hungover. If you guys firm up a plan, I'll try to make it or at least donate.
