I have this clip somewhere on VHS and used to watch it all the time. I was not old enough at the time to attend the show at the Diamond Club (which is now called The Phoenix). The venue's capacity is about 1000 and is one of the more frequently used venue's in Toronto. The show The New Music has done some fantastic interviews with The Police over the years including the famous original Andy in the bathtub interview which they revisited during Tourzilla where Andy's hair caught on fire. They also had Stewart's self-proclaimed famous "cucumber and lemon" look from a backstage interview.

I always prefered Andy's instrumental tracks when he went solo; the album xyx had a gem (Love is the strangest way), but the rest didn't impress me that much; he played some Police songs on that tour but when he started releasing fusion-pop-jazz records...well, that was something!

On my opinion I liked lot of the tracks of "XYZ" (I think 90%), on the other hand perhaps they needed a great drummer on there than the drum machine and less synth, but his guitar work on it is really amazing for me

Very cool, very nice. Andy and Stewart both have nice singing voices, I've enjoyed whatever I'd heard from them. This was great to view/hear.
Yes, LOVE Andy's albums/CDs from XYZ onward-somehow managed to get my habds on most of them, and they never stale. Hmmmm, kinda' like them music of a certain drummer I 've listened to........
