I'll be playing The SBSW Festival in Texas

Anyone living in Texas ...I'll be giving the drums a serious working...I'll be in Texas from March 11th-18th.
Would love to see some of you Nutters...I'll be honoring the drum skills of

The official name is SXSW...SOUTH BY
SOUTHWEST.

It's a huge music, art, trade show festival
with over 90 stages...I'm a hired gun playing with different acts...it's actually the largest festival of it's kind...Austin is a very cool music town. It makes Bonaroo look small...if you can imagine that?

SXSW is more of an industry thing. LOADS of live shows, mostly showcases by labels, promoters, venues, industry mags etc. There are those that just attend (punters) but mostly it is industry folks. Like an uber-trade show. It goes for 10+ days. Started out just music, but now it is internet, social media, some tech, and film.


It IS great to get to play there and be heard. Are you guys being showcased by a new label? Or shopping one? Congrats.


Bonnarroo is a music festival - totally different thing. All punters (fans).

Hey Empty, actually I'm a hired gun, but one of the acts has lable support and a booking agent that booked U2, Bob Marley...so it should be a great time.

And if Apple is selling the IPhone 5 or possibly IPad 3 then it's even a better gig for me!

I don't think we are getting an iPhone 5 til later in the year *cough* june?

But iPad 3 is being announced in San Fran on March 7th. I'll be getting one.
