Hey Throb,

Joe is playing in a band called NO now (nomusicforme.com) and is based in LA right now I think.

He also had his baby in Feb (http://wonderwall.msn.com/music/sting-i ... 6480.story)

A friend turned me on to this new band because one of the main guys is from Steriogram, a Kiwi band I loved!

They are doing a residency at the Echo in March- free every Monday night. I will definitely be hitting a few shows.
Will let you know how they are!

And am still hoarding air miles in case....

Love that our own MT is always up on things, and that she keeps US up on things! Thanks as always hon - xo. Oh, and - EQ, if you would *ever* get on Facebook, maybe you'd be up on things too. ;)

Gaaaaah. I actually am sitting on a couple of different hoards of CC points right now (had forgotten I would get a big bonus when I hit X spend on a new card I opened). If I can possibly make it work - I've been dying to visit IT for a while now. Only thing is Mr. Dive will kill me if I go without him, so that's two hoards of CC points needed...will just have to see. But, like others - looking forward to hearing many many coughs (hoping for pneumonia) from others!!
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!

Echo in March sound tempting. It's fairly close to my 'hood and I love Joe, he was so good at the Viper room. I'll see him in anything he is involved with.
Lmk what show(s) you go to. Does Conroy have any extra air miles or is he saving them for a European summer? :)

A few dates in the US? Please? Atlanta? Or New Orleans?

"the pure spirit, the elevated sophistication of jazz, and you mess it all up with the ragged energy of rock n roll"

Sounds perfect for New Orleans!

That's a good news !
I saw Animal Logic in Paris back in 1989 (june 3rd), The Police in London & Paris during the Reunion Tour and had the chance to chat with Stewart in Lille, France in october 2006 when he was promoting ES:TPIO.

Now I hope to have a rest during this european tour with Clarke (my holidays time will stop in July 8th) to see them live in Paris, maybe, or even Luxemburg, Belgium or Germany...
Fingers crossed !

that's one of the reasons Stewart needs to come to Peru, for drinking two bottles of peruvian "Pisco" (the grape liquor Ernest Hemingway got crazy) 8)

I know stewart loves horses...this is a video of peruvian "Paso Horse" at Lima's Hacienda, this amazing horse that have a particular walk, dance with peruvian music and is part of a great tour at south of Lima, that includes peruvian gastronomy dinner and Pisco Sour:

PS: Exist an anecdote related with "Pisco Sour" and horses... before a horse ride of the national championship "President of the Republic" the horse winner was invited to drink a cup of "Pisco Sour" in the famous Hotel "Maury" at downtown Lima, it was the first and unique time the doors of the bar in the hotel was open for that horse 8)

Therese, those are nice shots!

Jose, Pisco sounds intriguing. I wonder where it might be found in the US.
