Hello all - hope you are all well.

Funny to see this thread again and remember postng back in 2008!

The Softbodies are still going and we now have 13 tracks up on the myspace site, we have a facebook page, you can download the album at bandcamp etc etc etc etc

If you fancy a listen, then go over to http://www.myspace.com/thesoftbodies and the links to facebook and bandcamp are on there within the blogs.

All the rest of you guys are still sounding great and it is great to see people stll getting stuck in with putting music out there.

Take care all.

Liam.

Hi there !

This is the right place to update some news about our bands and musical projects, isn't it ?
So, I take advantage of the fact that this forum is still alive to post the last promo video of my band No Drum No Moog with the song "Self Control feat. Shadya" taken from our first album 'Monomur'.

You can see it there.

The title of the song is well appropriate compared with the bad mood on this forum since a couple of weeks...

I should have post in the topic I created in june. You can still have an eye there !

Thanks !

Hi Dive,

Interesting question. I'm just inquired with the guys in the Van Wilson band to find out. I suspect it'll go directly to

http://www.guidedogs.org/

But, I'm waiting for confirmation and I'll upate this post when I find out.

In the mean time, and much to my surprise, this event has been listed on (lightning flash, dark heavy chord) Ticketmaster. So, anyone in the area with a refund due to them can use it for this event. LOL (Wait, that's probably only me. Never mind. Damn.)

And for those who prefer alternate ticketing options...

https://www.vendini.com/ticket-software ... bae7&t=tix

Update for Dive: The brothers organizing the event have several people who want to act in a sponsorship role like you mentioned above (donate, but can't attend). They are suggesting the option of purchasing tickets which they would give away in your name. Either way (purchasing tickets or direct donation to the charity above) all ticket money goes to the charity, whichever you feel comfortable with. These fellows are on the up and up, so you'd be safe either way, but let's take any further discussion to PM. I feel awkward now -- too much promoting here.

Just to follow up regarding the event previously posted. We raised $25K for Paws for Patriots last night at our show, which means five more injured soldiers will be able to go through training and receive an assistance dog to help them live with greater freedom after having sacrificed their sight in the name of freedom. It was really a moving event and a helluva lotta fun, to boot. Thank you to anyone here who contributed.
