OT, After the Quake in Peru, I am OK!

Glad to hear all is ok, Jose. We're still having aftershocks from the quake we had on the East Coast last year. The most recent was two days ago.

Would love to visit Lima again someday (and visit you, of course Jose!) Maybe my Spanish won't be quite so pathetic next time. But I'm sure you will always be a lovely and gracious host to anyone you meet!

I haven't felt them either as they are usually in the 3-4 range on the Richter scale but I know folks who live closer to Mineral (the epicenter of the East Coast quake) who have felt all of them.

Hi Smax! Ohh yeah that is true, I am so proud about my country and home town. When I stayed at an student institute in Paris, I met lot of people around the globe (majority of them from Europe, Canada, Australia and Japan) and they told me the same as I look like a Peruvian ambassador, the reason is simple my Country had a rich past and nowadays a great future, and is like the "Noah's Ark" we have everything since sightseeings, animals, minerals, vegetables and people... Peru is Peru

Well I post it, because I received on Facebook some alerts about the last Earthquake in Pisco - Peru (6,2 ritcher degree) and to share with you I am Ok. Well as you see I am fine, and the real true was that I didn't felt that earth movement, for two reasons, first I think had a little dream when I was watching on cable a thriller and the other reason is that the epicenter of that quake was on "Pisco" a town in the south of Lima (many miles away on distance), although in the second floor of my home felt it... thanks so much for your regards and concerns...By the way, I live in "San Borja" a nice district of Lima:
