about stuff happening is - lots of other folks posting too! Ah, it's like the good old days...

(to the uninitiated - when the '07 tour was kicking off, the traffic around here went insane, nearly overnight. It was a little hard to get used to, but then hard to get used to once things quieted down again, IMO...)

I still remember sitting in a coffeeshop in LA with you and Conroy immediately after the Whiskey A Go Go performance, and having a collective "OH SHIT" moment, watching the board explode with something like 100 new posts a minute...

It was an exciting time to be sure, though overwhelming (and sometimes over-consuming financially and timewise, to be honest!) And then so many people vanished after it was over...understandable, to an extent as some folks were really only interested in The Police, but sad in some cases too...

It is nice though to have the board be somewhere I've got to remember to check in on, though, once (or more) a day, instead every week or two being "oh yeah, I guess I should check if anything new is happening."

I think it should just be a road trip TO the Sacred Grove, for some sacred groove jams with us and STEWART.

Why not STEWART? I'll even cook you all breakfast the next day!

WHERE DO I SIGN UP?

Seriously, Stewart, these tantalizing videos in the Sacred Grove are like dangling raw meat in front of a lion.
Hope you're not leading us on you naughty, deplorable boy!
Stewart and Stanley together again!! YO!

Here'd be the thing, though...I'd wind up homeless, divorced and living in a van down by the river if Oysterhead announced a tour...since I'd have to hock all my stuff and go to every date!! :D

I like the Sacred Grove idea. (just typed Scared Grove, which is what it would be with Nutters en route!)

What, playing Stewart's kit on stage, jamming with THE (two other) POLICE wasn't enough for you??? :)

Seriously though, at the risk of sounding like an Easter egg hunter, that would be a Sacred Dream!
I don't wanna work, I just wanna bang on the drums all day.

These were the headlines of the the morning newspaper, five years ago to the day, January 26th 2007.
I think of those good ol' days every time I drive past the North Vancouver Shipyards.
Before we moved out of North Van last summer, we used to live a stone's throw away from the Lions Gate Studios.

My apologies if these photos don't work, I'm not too sure how to post pictures to our forum.
I have scads of newspaper articles I'm trying to scan and digitally archive before they turn completely yellow and fall apart.
°My kid wants to be an influencer.
What the hell does that mean?
°It means I’ve failed as a parent.
