It's always good to gain a different perspective from new members, not only here at sc.net but also life in general; that's how we learn, how we evolve and become more accepting of others. For the most part, our community is a cool, fun, entertaining and informative place to be. I'm a drummer first and foremost and a Copeland/Police fan for decades so I pay particular attention to drum/Police related threads. I may not read or comment on every topic, I don't read threads about Stewart's package, his ass, Sting's ass or shoes or handbags but then that's my choice. I'm not offended by full frontal nudity or foul language, I am a red blooded male after all. You gotta get up pretty damned early in the morning to put a muzzle on this junk yard dog.
As one of those cranky old (born in the 60's) dinosaur types, I still try to maintain a sense of humour and not take things too seriously, life is too short, man. It's one thing to be cranky, and quite another to be a cantankerous douche and the bag it came in. Those completely lacking any degree of decorum will more often than not, find their threads plummeting to the bottom of the page with no response. One has anonymity behind a username and avatar, when that is used as an outlet to antagonize others, it only makes them look completely cowardly and feeble. Fortunately those ones are few and far between here.
Jemma, your enthusiasm is certainly welcome here. Don't let the ass clowns get you down and keep on posting.
°My kid wants to be an influencer.
What the hell does that mean?
°It means I’ve failed as a parent.
