Well, I had an idea to book a recording studio for one day, TODAY, January 2nd, and with NO SONGS in mind, call a few friends and 'record an album'....hmmm, no songs in mind yet? Ok, it will be great!
I'm heading to the studio right now...I'll post some updates later in the day, and if you're on facebook, you may see some videos and pics as well.
Hopefully you will also see the tracks on sale in a month or two!

Well, nine tracks in one day, not bad I have to say, considering they were not existing before...We recorded the main lines, bass, drums, guitars, vocal line (this is obviously the part that will be taken away and rerecorded, but the melody ideas remains).
It went very well...I guess there are a couple of tracks that have 'that thing', the others are ok, I'm working on them to give them a better shape, but there are tons of ideas; well, there are even more than nine tracks, but I do not consider the ideas who just turned up and didn't give us that chill.
I have about 5 hours of recording...it's so good to listen to a 20 minutes take where I suggested a melody line that I played with my bass, and the others just said it was crap, it was shit, it was just something really bad...well, I have insisted a little and the obvious 'fuck you Gio' appeared really easily...but I have my ways to let people get into what I want to do (some of you know me under this point of view ...) and I convinced them to play that line...I know that what I had in mind was really cool, and I wanted to give it a chance, see how it could work playing it with the band...ok, they wanted me to shut up, so the only way was to try and play it...they started getting into it...they started listening to the groove...well, they started to (uhm) like it....ahahah, I got them...you know what? They started saying...hey Gio, this can really be a hit, you know? This sounds great, this is so cool....
Even the guys at the control room were like...hey guys, this track works, it rocks, it can really be a hit, really....
Well, I don't know if this is the case, but I always write with my mind set up on the general public, and I guess this track can apply to the general public...It's so funny to listen to the whole recording from the 'fuck off Gio' to 'this can really be a hit!'.
You never know...
