You know the one that sounds like John Bonham on speed.... well, wait that's not right... like john bonham on super faster forward. The tom tom triplet thing...
I can't figure out what Stewart is doing there, anyone have than fill figured out?

Wow holy crap that was like one of the first youtube drum vids I ever did- haven't watched that in forever. I feel the need to redo this one for quality's sake...

But yes, I always heard it as triplets between the toms and bass, very similar to Bonham. Maybe St. Jeff can chime in with his knowledge. Or hell, STEWART are you reading?! let us know!! PS we also wanna know your trick for the impossible triplets at the end. ;)

okay time to go to work on these.
Lets see metronome at 120 lets try, left hand tom, right hand tom, pedal, ...
awww too fast doesn't sound good....
metronome 90, yeah thats better....
Yeah, kmart he does make it look easy, if only it were!!!
Okay, its a race to get to 210 between age and arthritis and clean triplets, who will win!!!

Dneckles, if I have my timezones right, just at the time you started this thread, I was listening to "No Time This Time" for the first time in a long while. (OK, I win the prize for the most overuse of the word time in one sentence.) Anyway, as I listened I kept thinking "Those triplets are insane! I'd love to see someone try to play them."
Synchronicity, my friend? Me thinks so.
In Dallas, the only game that really mattered was in the word gamelan.
