Lt, if that crying emoticon thing of yours is not being sarcastic, I may have to beat some sense into it with a snow shovel.
In Dallas, the only game that really mattered was in the word gamelan.

Pleeeeease, NO Mr. Bill!!! Not the snow shovel!! Perhaps I should be more specific: only snow on "school nights". I like the idea of getting some extra time off from w-o-r-k. I think I will come back to my senses when we get some real SPRING weather.

I'm bumping my favorite thread (I should work for The Weather Channel) because it's that time of the year. More dust clouds in Europe? And Moonstone and I were a-worrying that perhaps we have lost Nutters in "tornado alley" (although I think "tornado alley" is not our father's "tornado alley")?? Anyone living along the Mighty Missippii? Here we go again.

Any Nutters in Massachusetts? And they are already doing hurricane drills in Virginia (Hurricane Season officially began June 1st! Yeah!)

As laura says, it's time for another what's it doing outside? session.

Well on the Isle of Wight for the last couple of weeks we've had rain with more rain and added rain as well.
It's been wet here.
We've even had the heating on every now and then which is crazy for July but necessary to stop cold wet dogs from going up my duvet to dry off and get warm after their walk.

Today it's been sunny for a while but the cows are laying down and the clouds are gathering.

That concludes the weather forecast for any of you coming here for a holiday.

Honestly, I wouldn't know as I am holed up here inside with the AC... but the computer says it's 104 degrees somewhere here in Williamsburg. Bring it on!!!

Wanna house swap, Maria??

Same weather in the Midwest, LT. Heat index has been 100+ degrees with more of the same expected. Summer has arrived.

http://www.wvec.com/weather/forecast/smoke

The Great Dismal Swamp (that's really what it's called) is on fire: 6000 acres of burning peat moss! All underground and smoking! I think I am at least 60-90 miles north and depending on which way the wind blows we have Code Orange, Red, or Purple. Ugh. Stinky business.

Thundering and lightening. I gotta make a song about this!

67 today and damp; yesterday it was 72 with rain. It's beginning to look alot like summer. Virginia, it's not your mother's White Christmas.

Got about a foot of snow yesterday. It took me forever to dig my car out this morning before heading to work.

It's gonna be another Kopelandik Green Christmas here on the Wetcoast.
(snow is a novelty in Vancouver)

Hope everybody gets to where they're going and any holiday dysfunction is kept at a minimum.

Warm (55 or so) and wet here, too. Hey, at least no tornado warnings...

HAPPY NEW YEAR weather watching Nutters!

It's friggin' freezing outside! It's up to 25 but I think it started around 14 degrees this morning.
No snow today but we had flurries that laid yesterday.

This is after New Year's weekend that was in the 50's!
Wonder what's in store for us this year. :?:
Stewart and Stanley together again!! YO!
