The idea was inspired by, of course, Nigel Tufnel's amp that goes up to eleven.

Tonight we inaugurated with the IRS Records documentary "Decline & Fall of Western Civ 2." Highly recommended, if only for the hilarious hairstyles...

Closest date to us is Chicago. We'd be on it like a shot if they were playing a solo show, but would rather see a whole night of Lemmy goodness than split up with the other bands...but I'm not ruling it out. Especially since we had to bail on Roger Waters due to the $$$ factor.

Only thing is, it's travel to Chicago, in February. The weather that week is usually awful that far north of us. To the point that we'd probably have to drive, rather than risk being snowed in at ORD.

On the other hand: freaking Motorhead, in a small venue, and tix are only about 50 bucks. I wouldn't mind seeing Megadeth, either. Guess I better look into a hotel room and getting hold of the local Nutters. ;)

You know what, I'll go, unless tickets are $$$. I'm sure he'll be a shadow of his former self, but experience has taught me that seeing bands that've player for 30+ years rarely disappoints. ;)

what are you listening to in Peru these days, Jose?? I've actually been on a fairly heavy Motorhead kick, coincidentally...my husband bought the newish album & brought it home and now we're both obsessed....

Has Decline and Fall of Western Civilization 2 (or 1) ever been released on DVD?

Part 1 is the punk years. Both are excellent.

I had forgotten that they were IRS productions.
SC-There are a few crazy people on this planet. Sure sign of that is that they kinda like my music
