I have Alabama All State Orchestra Try outs today

Hey yall im having all state orchestra try outs. I mean i have been in a couple different orchestras.But this one is kids from all over the state who are REALLY good. Im really nervous any tips for a rookie?

I play the stand up bass and the drums.
I got into this orchestra with the bass.
i have not been playing the drums as long as i have the bass so there still a little new to me.

When I go to a live show (either rock or classical), I really enjoy when there is some sort of upright bass playing going on because you can feel the bass in ways in person that can never be captured in a recording.
