OT - Queen of Pain

There has been lots of Sting talk here lately, so I thought I would add this.

At the iHeartRadio show here in Vegas, Sting made a few guest appearances. A notable one was with Lady Gaga, and they performed Queen of Pain.

Wow. When people ask me why I am not much of a Sting fan when he's not with the Police, this is an excellent example why.

Regardless, I would be curious to see the performance if anyone has a ciip. Curious if it is the car wreck that I imagine it to be.

I have a friend who performs in drag shows, so I have had the misfortune of witnessing quite a few questionable Lady Gaga numbers. However, I would take amateur lip-synching drag queens any day over THIS.

Funny thing is that I do not think Lady Gaga is the worst part of that performance. Is that how Sting has been performing that song post-Tourzilla? Is he in tune? My lord, Sting used to have an incredible voice and range. What happened? Oh yeah, turning 60.

Lady Gaga is what she is. Love her or hate her, you pretty much know what to expect from her. But Sting? The disappointment comes from the fact that we know he is capable of so much more. He's just coasting now, and it's sad. He needs a good creative kick in the ass (like Stewart and Andy used to give him).
