Sting in grammar school

I could need some help as my head is about to explode.

I was trying to get Sting's early bands in order and then got distracted by researching his past ...

What I'm looking for is the time he spent in St. Cuthbert's Grammar School - too bad that the information from all those books is confusing at least:

I thought it was 1963 until 1970.

James berryman talks in his book about attending the Silver anniversary party of leaving the school in 1995.

if gordo had changed schools when he should have, he would have passed the 11+ exam and got a place at grammar school, starting when he was 12-ish, and he would have left after A levels at 18 ish.... so 63 to 70 sounds right.
